Jesus Matheus
Printmaking
Jesús is a sculptor, printmaker, and painter, based in Boston since 2005. He has held solo exhibitions in Venezuela, Spain, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Cuba, and the United States. He holds a BFA from the National School of Fine Arts in Brazil, and an MFA from the Centro de Enseñanza Gráfica at the Consejo Nacional de Cultura in Caracas (1987).
Since 1977, Jesús has been represented in more than 100 solo and group exhibitions, including national and international Biennials.
Jesús has exhibited work in the PINTA Art Fair, NY in 2007, 2008, and 2009, and is represented by Cecilia de Torres LTD, New York
